Eight homeschool record-keeping forms in one Word file. A transcript is a single page at the end of four years; these are the pages underneath it, the ones an evaluator or a district office asks to see. Every form is a real table, so you can type into it or print it and fill it in by hand.
What is in the file
- Report card. One per school year. Course, level, term grades, final grade, credits.
- Graduation and credit tracker. Set a target number of credits per subject area and log what is earned against it. It opens with typical college-prep totals, English 4, mathematics 3 to 4, science with labs 3 to 4, and so on up to 24 or more, as a starting point you adjust to your state and your plan.
- Attendance and instruction-hours log. Days or hours, whichever your state counts, with a monthly total line.
- Portfolio index and evaluator summary. A cover sheet listing representative work by subject, with a signature block for an annual review.
- Reading log. Title, author, started, finished, notes.
- Activities and extracurriculars log. Role, dates, hours per week. This one feeds the activities list on a college application, which is why the hours column is there.
- Field trip and experience log, with a column for the subject it ties back to.
- Weekly planner. Subjects down the side, Monday to Friday across.
What is not in the file
No transcript workbook, so nothing here calculates a GPA. No course descriptions. No state requirements. No records guide. This is forms.
Straight answers
Is it editable? Word .docx, with real tables rather than an image of a table or a locked PDF. Add rows, delete the logs you will never use, put your own household name at the top.
Will an evaluator accept these? They are the standard categories an evaluator or a reviewing district asks for. What gets a portfolio accepted is that it was filled in as the year went along and that it is true, and that part is yours. The forms only make it easy.
Is this a cut-down version of the Records System? No. Same eight forms, same tables. The cover page names this title instead of the system, and that is the whole difference.
