131 course descriptions for a homeschool high school transcript, in one Word file you edit. A paragraph per course, across seven subject areas. This is the job most families put off until the week an application is due.
What is in the file
- 131 descriptions across seven subject areas: English (19), Mathematics (16), Science (19), History and Social Science (20), World Language (18), Fine Arts (20), and Practical and Elective (19).
- Every entry gives the course title, the level, the credit value, a paragraph of description, and a short note on what the course usually pairs with. Eighty-six are labelled Regular, twenty-two AP, twenty-one Honors, two dual enrollment.
- A blank template at the end, for the course nobody else teaches. The welding year. The two summers on a boat.
- A note on levels, including why AP should not go on a transcript unless the course went through the College Board AP Course Audit. Admissions offices check that one.
What is not in the file
No transcript workbook. No state requirements. No report card, attendance log or portfolio forms. No records guide. Each of those is sold on its own here. All five together are the Homeschool High School Records System.
Straight answers
Is it editable? It is a Word .docx, not a picture of a document and not a PDF you have to retype. Open it, delete the courses you did not teach, swap our sample reading list for the books your student actually read. We wrote these expecting to be rewritten. A description is honest only when it matches what happened at your table.
Is this a cut-down version of the Records System? No. Same 131 descriptions, same wording, same file. The cover page names this title instead of the system, and that is the whole difference.
This one or the Records System? This file is $24. The Records System is $39 and holds it along with the transcript workbook, the eight forms, the fifty-one state summaries and the guide, so if you want the Records Pack too, at $40 for the pair the system is already cheaper.
One child or all of them? All of them. One purchase, one household, as many students as you teach.
Instant download. Personal single-household use. If it is not right for you, write within 14 days and we will refund it, no reasons required.
